The creation of the Bar Exam Preparation Scholarship program is the next step in strengthening the NVLBA's commitment to diversifying the legal profession. In 2019, the NVLBA founded the ¡Andale! 5k Run/Walk. The funds raised from the 5k fund the ¡Andale! Scholarship, which helps recipients pay for LSAT preparation courses and related LSAT fees. Those costs and fees are often an obstacle for many aspiring attorneys wishing to go to law school. Since its inception, the ¡Andale! 5k has raised over $600,000, which allowed us to fund over 250 LSAT scholarships for future Latino lawyers.

The Bar Exam Preparation Scholarship program is the next step in helping Latinos achieve their goal of becoming attorneys. Thanks to the State Bar of Nevada, we are excited to offer scholarship opportunities that can be used to help Latinos offset the costs of studying and preparing for the bar exam.
